Preview of APICS 2018 Conference!

E-commerce is changing the face of retail, and the way consumers shop for the products they want. Most CPG companies are struggling with e-commerce and how to build a competitive supply chain. This presentation outlines quantifiable methods to meet rising customer expectations while accounting for volatile demand and complex supply risks.  The presenter will point out some common pitfalls and share best practices from experiences at a CPG company as they implemented a new e-commerce strategy to increase their competitiveness. The speaker will also present practical, real-world examples of improving e-commerce strategies to improve the consumer experience while enhancing the value proposition.

Three Best practices you'll take away:

  • Develop an E-commerce supply chain which meets the needs of both the supplier and the retailer
  • Gain a better understanding for the pitfalls and issues of developing an E-commerce centric supply chain
  • Highlight ways companies can differentiate themselves and provide more value to their consumers
