announcing the ascm fox river chapter
ASCM recently announced that it has adapted its North American chapter structure to meet the changing needs of its members. Supply chain professionals learn and engage differently today than in the past. As an organization, we are also evolving in order to continue supporting the supply chain community. These changes will enable ASCM and its partners to deliver superior experiences for members and customers that are aligned with our rapidly shifting business environment.
How will this change affect you?
The short answer is not much. You are currently a member of the APICS Fox River Chapter which will become the ASCM Fox River Chapter in 2021. No structure change, just a name-change to align us with our parent organization, ASCM.
As we make the official transition to an ASCM Chapter, you will see our name change, our new logo, and website design, and changes to emails for the chapter board members. The transition should be seamless to you, our members. We will keep you updated as we move through the process, adapting from APICS to ASCM, until the transformation is complete.
As an ASCM training partner we will continue to offer the full breadth of certification courses including APICS CPIM, CSCP, and CLTD certification review courses. In addition, we offer engagement opportunities for local supply chain professionals to connect with friends, colleagues, peers and mentors, learn new skills, and create a better world through supply chain.
As always, adding value to our members and your companies is our focus. Keep an eye out for exciting new class offerings, changes to our meetings and awesome new ways for you to participate in the chapter.
We are excited about this change and look forward to engaging with you in new ways in the months to come. In the meantime, if you have any questions or ideas we can address, please feel free to contact the chapter at [email protected]
